Day in Marriott Mena House, Cairo
My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Marriott Mena House during our trip to Giza/Cairo, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We were blown away to find a welcome cake waiting for us in our room, a thoughtful touch that made our honeymoon-style trip feel even more special. Our room was clean, super comfortable, and came with a balcony view overlooking the swimming pool — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The unreal view of the Pyramids right from the hotel's garden. Nothing compares to sipping tea while gazing at a wonder of the ancient world just a stone’s throw away. The grounds and gardens were beautifully maintained, adding to the peaceful, luxurious vibe of the entire property. The breakfast at Marriott Mena House was fantastic — a self-serve buffet with a wide variety of dishes. From fresh pastries to hot items, there was something for everyone. The spread was not only delicious but also beautifully laid out, with everything organised in an elegant and inviting way, making it a great start to the day. This isn’t just a hotel stay — it’s a full-on experience. I’d 100% recommend the Marriott Mena House to anyone visiting Cairo. Whether it’s for the incredible view, five-star service, or just a relaxing escape with a hint of ancient majesty, this place delivers. i do understand it is a little on the pricier end, but honestly definitely worth it.

My stay was truly exceptional, I’m not even kidding when I say I have been to a 1000 different hotels in my life and this is one of the absolute top ones. Not only the location is amazing, looking straight at the pyramids but everything from cleanliness to helpful, amazing staff, great facilities, free private sauna and jacuzzi, I had the best massage ever in their SPA (and I spent 1,5 year in Thailand getting massages nearly everyday at different price range), food was tasty, I loved sitting outdoors while at breakfast or lunch, dinner. I can’t express enough how well behaved and mannered the Staff is, they truly made my stay unforgettable by the way they made me feel. The gardens in a hotel are beautiful and even if the rooms are a bit dull (as most of the hotels anyway) it was very clean and I found it spacious. I felt like a Queen there and it is worth the price. I read the bad reviews but honestly it’s gotta be some bad days or unlucky one time experiences because the hotel was amazing. I recommend it with all my heart!

An unparalleled location. Truly an epic view and beautiful compound. The most incredible pool!! A spacious room with a very comfortable bed. A great buffet restaurant with fresh and delicious food, and includes Egyptian food which was a welcome change. I want to recognise Mahmoud in the restaurant for his warmth and kindness. I’d also like to recognise Ali who was the housekeeper on my floor (Room 230). He was so friendly and his attention to detail in how he serviced the room was outstanding.

View of the pyramids from the hotel was amazing. Having coffee at sunrise with a pyramid view was just magical. buffet breakfast was probably the best we had during our visit to Cairo. I’d probably consider staying here again just for the breakfast 😂. Staff are super helpful, friendly and professional. Compliments to the staff! They definitely made the stay a pleasant experience. Hotel swimming pool was open until 8pm. Bathroom was clean, water pressure was fine too.

The pyramid view from our room was excellent. Worth having if you are in Giza for a short time. The pool was also beautiful and grounds well maintained. There is also a high level of security as you come in.
